Free Commercial Solar Assessment — Know Your Numbers Before You Commit

Before any business invests in solar, you deserve real numbers — not a sales pitch. Sunny Sky Solar's free commercial solar assessment shows you exactly what solar could do for your building: what you might save, what it would cost, and whether it even makes sense for your property. No pressure, no obligation. Bilingual team — English & Spanish.

What Happens During Your Assessment

  1. Quick intro call (15–30 min). We learn your building, your goals, and what you're paying for energy today.
  2. Remote site & roof review. We analyze your roof, land, orientation, and shading using satellite data and your usage — no need to interrupt operations.
  3. Energy & financial modeling. We size a system to your actual load and project your potential savings and payback.
  4. Clear written proposal. You get the options (including $0-down commercial PPA), the numbers, and the assumptions behind them — in plain language.
  5. You decide. We answer every question. You choose if and when to move forward. No commitment.

What to Have Ready

The more of this you can share, the sharper your numbers — but don't worry if you don't have it all; we can pull a lot remotely:

  • Your recent electric bills (12 months is ideal) — the single most useful item.
  • Approximate building size, roof type, and age.
  • Whether you own or lease the building (and the lease term, if leased).
  • Any expansion plans or known electrical constraints (added load, EV fleet, etc.).

How the Financial Review Works

We compare what you pay your utility today against a solar scenario sized to your usage, then lay out your options — cash, financed, or a $0-down commercial Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) where you simply buy the power the system produces, often below utility rates. You'll see estimated savings, payback, and the assumptions we used, so nothing is a black box.

Commercial incentives, tax treatment, and depreciation (e.g., ITC, state programs, accelerated depreciation) vary by business and ownership structure. We'll flag what may apply; please confirm specifics with your accountant or tax advisor.

What Happens After You Book

Once you grab a time, we reach out to confirm the quick intro call. From there, most businesses have their full assessment and written proposal within about one to two weeks — with zero obligation to proceed. If you do move forward, we manage permitting, engineering, utility paperwork, installation, and monitoring for you (see Our Commercial Solar Process).

No Pressure — Ever

If solar isn't a good fit for your building, we'll tell you straight. The assessment is free, honest, and yours to keep either way. Our goal is a long-term relationship, not a one-time sale.
